概要
キヤノンのFDマウントの明るい標準レンズである。FL 50mm F1.4を改良される形で1979年に発売された。
フィルター径は52mm。ニッコールのようだ。
重さは235gと明るい標準レンズとしては軽量で取り回しがしやすいだろう。
絞り羽根は8枚。
無限遠にするととてもコンパクトだ。
絞りはF1.4からF22まで。22の隣のAはAE対応カメラで使用するときに用いる。
最短は45cm。至って標準的性能だ。鏡筒もそこまで伸びないので最短でもコンパクトである。
先代のFDレンズに比べワンタッチで装着ができるのでラクである。
カメラに装着
キヤノン F-1に装着するとこんな感じ。
カメラが大袈裟過ぎるかと思ったけど、全体のバランスが良い。またシアン掛かったコーティングが美しいね。
作例
コーティングが優れているので発色がとても良い。使用しているフィルムがウルトラマックスなのもあって青色が特に気持ちのいい発色をしている。諧調も豊かで暗部も黒くなりすぎず、ちゃんと表現できている。
よくキヤノンは発色がいいから広告向きだとか言われていたけど、こういうことなのかもしれないと腑に落ちた。
コンパクトで取り回しがいいので積極的に使っていきたいね。
